REVIEWS:

I am a Social Work Therapist and have utilized the book, The Terrible Snore, in working with patients that have intellectual disabilities. The book demonstrates in a fun and simple manner a basic concept of Cognitive Restructuring. The book provides an example of how thoughts can play a significant role in determining how we feel and how we act (behave). I would highly recommend this book to use as a teaching tool as well as just for fun and pleasure! (J.B., LCSW-R)

Just got this book and love it!! Bought two & plan on giving them to my sons who can read it to their kids!! My husband is a HUGE snorer so they will get a kick out of it! I read it out loud to my husband right when I opened it and he laughed out loud! It’s perfect!! (Cathy O., Grandmother)

It’s a well thought out tale of wild imagination ending right where you might imagine, in a very familiar terrible snore! My daughter loves the rhythm, rhyme, and illustrations! (Teacher and four-year old’s mom, Jessica S.)

This engaging story – about a child finding the courage to face a fear, with the help of a beloved pet – is delightful and relatable on so many levels. The author demonstrates a deep understanding of the psychology of children, particularly in relation to how they experience and process everyday fears. As a parent myself, reading this caused me to reflect on similar experiences with my own children (also my nieces and nephews, and their friends). I also laughed out loud! This is a book that should be read and enjoyed by parents together with their children as a way to work through worries and fears (and laugh a little bit along the way). (K.M. Professor, PhD)

What I love about this book? It operates on different levels. On the one hand, it’s a playful, funny story that will make young children smile and laugh. They and their parents may also discover another layer as well: how we can use imagination and humor to cope with our anxieties and fears. Children and parents will treasure this light-hearted story that contains such a valuable life-lesson! (B.T. Professor, PhD)

Trabold scores a bull’s-eye with this hilarious debut. Kutuzova’s puckish illustrations enhance the fun of Trabold’ s wit and rhyme. A delightfully humorous tale of young boy’s imaginative solution to the nighttime disruption of his father’s loud snoring. (Lynn H)

As a mother of 2 and a teacher, I can say my kids just love this book! It’s a sweet and silly story with a fun rhyme pattern to keep the littles engaged! The pictures are colorful and fun to look at as well. My kiddos ask for this story on repeat. (Katie M, Teacher and Mother)
